Hladnov English Drama Club

The goal of the Hladnov English Drama Club is to be the best High School drama group in Ostrava, while at the same time creating a fun and enriching environment for the participating students. The Drama Club meets on Wednesday from 13:30 – 15:30. In the Autumn, rehearsals focus on each actor's development through the use of drama games and workshops. We perform a play every Spring, and more intense rehearsals focusing on the play begin in January. The Drama Club is organized and run by Professor Crighton and Lucie Crighton.

We have two weekends-away; one in October, and one at the end of March. The weekend in October is focused on team building and acting skills. The weekend in March is focused on the up-coming play. If a student wishes to perform in the play at the end of the year, they must attend the weekends-away.
